Wai-O-Tapu Thernal Wonderland

Wai-O-Tapu reminded me of driving through West Yellowstone. I think if Katie's face is any indication....she was slightly less thrilled to be here than when we were at Hobbiton!

 Haha that face says it all!

It was really cloudy and a bit chilly so the steam coming off the hot pots was filling the sky....made it a bit eerie!

 She is climbing over the rocks to avoid the bubbling water in the middle of the walking path.

 Katie was walking on the wood because she was a bit freaked out to walk on the path shown by the wood but with a no walking sign right next to it....She wasn't to thrilled to be that close to the hot pots

 Don't let her face fool you...she is having a GREAT time haha

Random Collage and Katie's Bungy adventure!

We did a lot of things while Katie was here. Here is a bit of random collage of our adventures....if you make it all the way to the end there is a video of Katie bungy jumping off the Auckland bridge!!

Katie was excited to get here, but was tripped out a bit being a passenger....in the drivers seat....

This was at Skyline. We had just ridden the luge down the hill and were going back up for round 2. Lake Rotorua is behind us.

We went on a zip line as well. They have this map and they have everyone who does the zip line put in pin in the map showing where they are from. We were the first ones from Idaho!

 This look on her face was because she really wanted to go bungy jumping and just got a look at how high the bridge really is!

 If you know anything about Katie, you know she is terrified of volcanoes! So I asked if she wanted to go on a helicopter ride, but she said she refused to go on anything called VOLCANIC AIR...haha

 She begged to drive back to my house from a restaurant we were at....we were actually still parked in this picture so not really sure what she is freaking out about haha

Musiek Point is not far from my house and give a spectacular view!

You made it to the bungy jump!!!! I don't know if the video will work, but she really did it!
