Monday I was in Hamilton, which is also where our beautiful temple is. It was really cool. I was driving through farm fields on this country road when I rounded a corner and there, literally on the top of a hill in the middle of farmland sat the LDS temple. It was stunning!!
The next pictures are from the drive from Hamilton to Flagstaff and then Flagstaff to Rotorua. This is where you really can start seeing the landscape changing. It would go from flat farmlands, to rolling hills then back again then to lush green mountains. It just was spectacular!!! Enjoy the view!!
This is the lake in Rotorua. It is huge! Very beautiful area, BUT it smelled like rotten eggs haha!! Rotorua is basically they West Yellowstone of New Zealand. There are geysers, hot pots, etc. Rotorua happens to be the youngest geothermal area in the world! Don't any of you tell Katie, or she won't come visit haha!!
